[small inducible cytokine A1] This gene encodes the human inflammatory cytokine I-309, which is identical with TCA-3, P500, or SIS-epsilon. The factor belongs to the group of cytokines known as chemokines (subgroup of CC-Chemokines). The approved gene symbol is CCL1. See also: SCY family of cytokines.
