[small inducible cytokine A8] The SCYA8 gene encodes the cytokine known as MCP-2 or HC14. These factors belong to the family of chemotactic cytokines known as Chemokines (subgroup of CC-Chemokines). The approved gene symbol is CCL8. See also: SCY family of cytokines.
